I immediately experimented with creating my own version, and it&#8217;s been my go-to hostess drink ever since. Mezcal evokes the warmth and sexiness of a crackling fire, while creme de cassis adds a layer of sweetness. Fresh lime juice keeps it tart, and ginger beer lends a spicy, seasonal twist.
